If you are ultrarich, finding ways to spend your money can be a real pain. It’s a problem we all face from time to time, but if you happen to live in Mumbai, India, you’re in luck. You can get an extra apartment – kept for business trips presumably – with a built in swimming pool in your balcony.

The edgy pool, which goes right to the rim of the balcony, decks every apartment of the 27 story complex. Though housing in general is in a slump otherwise, this apartment complex hopes to bank on the itching urge of the rich to disburden themselves of some of their hardly earned money. The Imperial, for instance, another luxury apartment complex in the area, has managed to keep 90 percent of its 228 apartments filled.

Responses are mixed on the new design, which is still being built. Gizmodo writer Jesus Diaz calls design a “deadly accident waiting to happen,” and an “architectural nightmare,” saying “No matter what you want to call this, I would call it crazy.”
