McCarter and English LLP are taking on attorney Alan F. Kornstein at their Newark office where he partners with the Tax & Employee Benefits Group. He will bring his business savvy to help corporations anticipate tax issues and also advise in corporate issues ranging from mergers to business divorces.
“Alan is a great addition to our office and tax group,” Michael A. Guariglia, the Newark office’s managing partner said. “We welcome him and look forward to continuing the growth of our talent base in New Jersey and firm wide.”

Daniele. “His experience in handling complex tax issues will be invaluable as we continue to expand and strengthen our transactional practices group.”
Kornstein earned his LL.M in taxation from New York University School of Law and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned his B.A from Yale, gradating cum laude. His expertise is tackling complicated tax issues for large corporations, such as the organization of investments, the establishing and dismantling of mergers, real estate transactions, and tax-advising all around.
