During a recent event in Las Vegas, Joe Jackson decided to flash his handgun to the people in attendance, telling the crowd that it is comparable to an American Express card. He never leaves home without his gun. Jackson was at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this past weekend to accept an honor during the Black Music Awards, according to TMZ.
Majestik, Jackson’s friend, introduced him by telling the crowd a story involving Joe confronting the bodyguards of Michael Jackson just two weeks before he passed away. Majestik claims that Joe flashed his gun at the guards during the incident and said, “If I hear you all givin’ my son drugs or doing anything illegal with my son … I’ma kill all of you.”
After Majestik handed over the mic to Joe, he decided to corroborate the story when he said, “It’s very true. Every word he said.” Jackson went on to say to the crowd that, “I carry a piece everywhere I go … I’m gonna show it to you.” Jackson then pulled his jacket away from his body to show the crowd his handgun that was holstered on his hip. He said, “I’ve been threatened a lot of times and so I need to be safe.”
