The law firm of Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates P.C. announced via a press release this week that Jake Ramsey is joining the law firm to work as an associate. Ramsey becomes the 25th attorney hired at the law firm, which operates in Texas in the area of business law. It was not immediately clear when Ramsey would start at the firm.
Ramsey focuses his practice on commercial and complex litigation. The areas he mainly focuses on within his practice are commercial real estate, litigation in construction, securities issues and banking issues.
Prior to being hired at Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates P.C., Ramsey worked at the World Affairs Council and for a United States congressman. Ramsey earned a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. He graduated from the school summa cum laude and worked as the articles editor for the Texas Tech Law Review. He earned his bachelor of science degree from Texas Christian University in political science.
Ramsey joined the State Bar of Texas in 2012. The law firm of Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates P.C. was founded in 1896 in Texas. The firm focuses on business law practice but has branched out into intellectual property law and litigation.
