On Thursday, Greenberg Traurig LLP announced that Carla Hogan had joined its Albany office as a shareholder in the Health & FDA Business and Labor & Employment practices. She would be counseling clients on regulatory, transactional and litigation matters.
Hogan has a diversified range of practice experience and clients and represents both public and privately held business. She has represented health care providers in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other transactional dealings. Her litigation experience also includes defending audits and professional discipline matters.
Harold N. Iselin, a health care attorney and managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Albany office said, “We are pleased to have Carla join Greenberg Traurig. This is an exciting but challenging time in health care and health insurance.” Iselin is also co-chair of the law firm’s Global Insurance Regulatory & Transactions Practice.
Hogan’s professional and community involvement also includes being an adjunct professor at the Graduate College of Union University, and lecturer at Cornell University. She did her JD, cum laude from Union University, Albany Law School.

Hogan also has a track record of providing employment counseling to business and public sector entities, including guidance and advice in Title VII, the ADA, and the Family Medical Leave Act. She has the experience of defending employers in federal, state and administrative proceedings on employment discrimination charges and Fair Labor Standards Act actions.
