The law firm of Yates, McLamb & Weyher, LLP, has announced via a press release that nine of its partners have been honored by North Carolina Super Lawyers. This is the seventh straight year that the firm’s founding partner, Dan McLamb, is on the “Top 10 North Carolina Super Lawyers” list. This year is the fourth time since 2008 that McLamb received the most points in North Carolina. Founding partner Bonnie Weyher was named to the “Top 50 Women Lawyers North Carolina Super Lawyers” list for a fifth straigth year.
Other lawyers from the firm who were named to the 2013 Super Lawyers list include Barry Cobb (personal injury defense – medical malpractice and administrative law), John Minier (personal injury defense – medical malpractice), and Rod Pettey (personal injury defense – general, construction litigation and personal injury defense – product).
Four other members of the law firm have been named as 2013 Rising Stars. Attorneys who receive this honor must be 40 years old or younger and have been practicing for 10 years or less. The four lawyers from the firm named in this list include Lori Meyerhoffer (injury defense – medical malpractice and health care), Ryan Shuirman (personal injury defense – medical malpractice), Bo Thompson (civil litigation defense and professional liability – defense) and Erin Young (personal injury defense – general and personal injury defense – medical malpractice).
