Obama campaign strategist Jeff Berman has joined the DC office of St. Louis, Missouri’s Bryan Cave.
Berman is part of Bryan Cave’s new 25-member public policy & governmental affairs group. The group is made up of Bryan Cave Strategies LLC, the firm’s pre-existing government affairs affiliate, as well as the firm’s election law practice and Powell Goldstein LLP’s public policy practice.
Berman served as the national delegate director for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.
Until 2004, Berman served as a longtime adviser to former House of Representatives Democratic Leader and two-time presidential hopeful Dick Gephardt from Missouri.
Berman also has experience in private practice, working at Winston & Strawn’s DC office from 1995 until 2003.
Like Obama, Berman is a Harvard Law grad, earning his JD in 1982.
