Heartthrob teenybopper megastar Justin Bieber, who is known to have teenage girls screaming, “I’m a Belieber” was stopped on the U.S.-Canada border. He wasn’t present as one of his tour buses was searched, but police dogs sniffed out drugs on one of the buses on Sunday night.
As Justin Bieber prepared to perform on Sunday night at the Joe Louis Arena, authorities discovered a small amount of marijuana intended for personal use. Certain drug paraphernalia was also seized by customs officers, according to freep.com.
When the drug-sniffing dogs and the police and custom authorities found the marijuana and paraphernalia, the singer was not on the bus. As of now, the driver of the bus was issued a civil penalty. No comment has been released otherwise from the singer.
Justin Bieber has recently been in the media for having had his picture taken where he seems to have a small hand rolled cigarette that seems as if it may contain marijuana rather than tobacco. Once the photo had been released, thousands of fans pleaded with the megastar to consider the consequences and stop drugs. Bieber famously tweeted a response “I see all of you, I hear all of you, I never want to let any of you down, I love you and thank you.” Though it would be unwarranted to expect that this tweet was specifically a response to fans concerned with his alleged marijuana use, gawker.com says that Justin Bieber’s response is a “sorry, but not sorry” kind of apology to fans.
