The CIA lied about the Benghazi terrorist attack of September 11 last year. A false reason was invented for why the attack took place, claiming some unknown movie by an unknown American prompted the attack. This proved not at all to be the case. Now CNN reports that there has been an “unprecedented” attempt at keeping Benghazi CIA secrets from ever leaking out. This includes subjecting the CIA operatives involved to frequent, monthly polygraph examinations as to whether they are leaking what really went on.

As CNN analyst Robert Baer explains, “Agency employees typically are polygraphed every three to four years. Never more than that.”

“If somebody is being polygraphed every month, or every two months it’s called an issue polygraph, and that means that the polygraph division suspects something, or they’re looking for something, or they’re on a fishing expedition. But it’s absolutely not routine at all to be polygraphed monthly, or bi-monthly,” said Baer.

Answering the public such questions as why there were dozens of CIA operatives on the ground during the Benghazi attacks has not been answered. And though CIA operatives wanted to come forward and explain the situation, they have since changed their minds.

“You don’t jeopardize yourself, you jeopardize your family as well,” one insider write, as CNN reported.

Another claimed, “you have no idea the amount of pressure being brought to bear on anyone with knowledge of this operation.”

New sources claim the number of Americans present at the attack was 35, with 7 wounded. What they were doing there has not been explained, and the exact number isn’t exactly clear. Such confusion leads U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf to say, “I think it is a form of cover-up, and I think it’s an attempt to push it under the rug, and I think the American people are feeling the same way.”

“We should have the people who were on the scene come in, testify under oath, do it publicly, and lay it out. And there really isn’t any national security issue involved with regard to that.”

He has worked to make this happen, and organized 150 fellow Republican members of Congress to do so.

“Initially they were not afraid to come forward. They wanted the opportunity, and they wanted to be subpoenaed, because if you’re subpoenaed, it sort of protects you, you’re forced to come before Congress. Now that’s all changed,” said Wolf. As to why and what this means, the question is whether the American public will ever know.
