US Based Law Firm Baker Botts reported a 6.16 percent increase in global revenue during the most recent financial year. They garnered a 2007 revenue of $577.7 million and  soared to $613.3 million in 2008. Their profit per equity partner rose 4.6% up to $1.36 million.

The firm, who represents such oil giants as BP and Exxon Mobile, grew in regards to their international arbitration capabilities.

They acquired former Latham & Watkins lawyer Alejandro Escobar, who is now located in their London Office, as well as Steven Lim, formerly of Raja & Tann, who is stationed in Hong Kong. They signed on as special counsel to Baker Botts.
