Thomas Greco is a father of five children who lives in Mickleton, New Jersey. He is 51-years-old and is now unemployed for not following an order given to him by a superior. According to a report in the New York Post, Greco was fired from his job because he did not fire another employee that was described by his boss as a “no-good New York City Jew.”
Greco had recently begun working at the US Custom House in downtown New York in May as a superintendent when he was given his orders. The man who had hired him asked Greco to fire another employee.
Greco’s boss, Howard Anastasi, is the director of human resources for Brooks Range Contract Services, which is headquartered in Alaska. Greco and Anastasi went to lunch, which is when the order was given.
“He says: ‘You got a guy working for you — Chuck Brenner — he’s a no-good New York City Jew,’ ” Greco said. “ ‘You know what that means: He’s no good. You gotta get rid of him.’ ”
Greco slipped down a stairwell in May of 2012 and had to take a leave of absence.

Anastasi called Greco two months later and told him he was fired.
“I said, ‘Why are you firing me?’ He said, ‘I told you to take care of something, and you didn’t,’ ” Greco said.
In September, Greco filed a complaint with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York City Human Rights Commission.
