Rolling Stone’s latest issue’s cover features a naked Louis-Dreyfus with the U.S. Constitution inked on her back. The cover shows Louis-Dreyfus with the U.S. Constitution written on her back and the signature of founding father John Hancock appears on her tailbone, but as the Washington Examiner’s Justin Green pointed out, Hancock didn’t sign the Constitution. John Hancock signed a historical document, the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is an actress, comedian and producer, known for her television work on the TV show Seinfeld. Her breakthrough came in 1990 with a nine-season run playing the character of Elaine Benes on Seinfeld, one of the most critically and commercially successful sitcoms of all time.

In the magazine’s cover story Julia Louis-Dreyfus shares, “I’m a perfectionist in my work,” according to Fox News Louis-Dreyfus said that, “I think I might drive people nuts. I don’t ask them, because I don’t need that (expletive) on top of how I’m feeling.”

Fox News reported that, Julia Louis-Dreyfus jokingly blamed the mistake on Mike McClintock, the fictional “Veep” character played by Matt Walsh who serves as communications director to Louis-Dreyfus’ Vice President Selina Meyer on the HBO comedy series.

“Hancock signed Dec. of Independence NOT Constitution,” Julia Louis-Dreyfus tweeted on Wednesday, then referred to Mike McClintock, “Veep’s” hapless director of communications played by Matt Walsh, by adding, “Yet another Mike (expletive)-up. Dummy.”
