Kendall Jenner, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star according to Yahoo Music News, had trouble introducing Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, and the results ended comically. The 18-year-old model and reality star was asked to announce the Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer but flubbed her lines, according to the Huffington Post.
“And now we welcome…” Kendall Jenner said before taking a long pause, “…One…” Seemingly embarrassed by the mistake, according to Yahoo News, Jenner kneeled over and laughed. As she tried to regain her composure, she admitted, “Guys, I’m the worst reader!” It seemed like Kendall Jenner almost referred to the group “One Direction,” before stopping herself in mid-sentence.
Kendall Jenner, the up-and-coming runway model,  posted on Twitter to explain herself, writing, “Anndddd as if I wasn’t nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned.”
According to US Magazine, after briefly dating One Direction’s Harry Styles earlier this year, many thought her slip was no coincidence.
