According to ABC News, actor Michael Jace, 48, has been booked for murder following the fatal shooting of his wife April. Los Angeles police said the shooting happened at 8:30 p.m. local time in the city’s Hyde Park neighborhood. When police arrived at the scene, at the home of Michael Jace, they found his wife, 40-year-old April Jace dead inside the home.
According to The Los Angeles Times, Detective Eric Crosson said that Michael Jace was taken into custody Monday night and arrested on a homicide charge later. Jace was in custody and unavailable for comment. Clearly the night picture above shows law enforcement at the scene. While no comments have been issued regarding this tragic situation, the charges have been made and now the due process of the law will go forward. Law enforcement and police have not chosen to discuss any reasoning or motivation behind the alleged crime with the media. The counsel representing Michael Jace has also not issued any statement.
Jace is best known for his role as officer Julien Lowe in “The Shield.” He’s also appeared in “Forest Gump” and “Planet of the Apes” the TV movie “Michael Jordan: An American Hero.” The couple were married for nine years and have two children.
