Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and a good mother’s day! I’ve been doing a little studying, a little relaxing and just trying not to get too overwhelmed! I’ve taken 3 finals so far and I have one 24-hour take home this week and a paper to write and then I’m DONE! AHHHHHHH. I can’t handle it. Alright, let’s get on to my weekly workout round up, shall we?

First let’s take a look at how I did last week:

Monday – Workout A + Cardio

What
Where

Tuesday – Cardio intervals + Core workout

Wednesday – Workout B + Cardio (or Rest depending on studying)

Thursday – Cardio intervals + Core workout

Friday – Workout C + Cardio

SaturdayRun or Rest

SundayKickball (maybe morning run if I didn’t get it in Saturday I forgot that we didn’t have kickball this week because of Mother’s Day! I went on a 3.25 mile run… Meant to make it 3.5 miles but my knees started bother me so I stopped a bit early.

I was actually pretty proud that I managed to get in all my workouts this week! I realized after I did my workout post-final on Wednesday that I actually focus better if I get up, workout and then get on with my day rather than trying to jump right into studying.

Here’s a look at what’s coming up this week:

Monday – Workout A + sprints

Tuesday – Cardio workout

Wednesday – Workout B + sprints

Thursday – Cardio workout

Friday – Workout C + sprints

Saturday – REST

Sunday – 4 mile run (& walk across a stage…)

I’m excited to start the fourth (and final!) stage of Tina’s bootcamp this week! The strength training workouts are being done tabata style, which means we do one exercise for 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds, do exercise 2 for 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds, and repeat that sequence a total of four times. There are also lots of burpees involved Workout C… Haha that will be fun for my fellow gym-goers to watch…

This upcoming week I have a few random appointments (chiro, volunteer training & pick up/drop off take home final) but other than that I have a very flexible schedule so I feel pretty good about getting everything in. The weekend run may or may not happen. My family is in town and I’m more concerned about enjoying my graduation weekend than getting in a workout. We shall see!

Anyone graduating or going to a graduation this May or June?

What are you looking forward to this week?

What’s your favorite color? 😉
