Blank Rome LLP recently announced that John Adkins has joined the firm, according to a press release.
Adkins will work in the Finance, Restructuring and Bankruptcy group. He represents clients with issues surrounding real estate, business transactions, banking, and corporate matters. Adkins will work in the firm’s Houston office.

Adkins comes to the firm from Strasburger & Price. In prior jobs, Adkins has worked as senior vice president/general counsel for a bank based in Houston and as a senior officer for a public company.
His clients operate in the real estate, technology, construction, transportation, energy and food industries.

Adkins earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of the Forty Acres Scholarship Steering Committee, the UT Development Board, the UT Law School Alumni Association Executive Committee and is a lecturer at the Houston Bar Association.
