Summary: Get to know me better by reading my answers to these twelve questions about various aspects of my life.
1) What is your current health related goal?
To gain muscle and feel stronger and fit – for me it’s all about feeling good!
2) What is your biggest irrational fear?
Probably any body of water. I’ll get in and deal with the fear, but I always have this feeling that something is going to swim up and get me! Even in the deep end of a swimming pool…
3) Do you enjoy wrapping presents?
I do if I have the time and pretty supplies to wrap them! I like to think I’m a creative person so it can be fun to wrap gifts.
4) What is your favorite cross training activity?
Beachbody DVDs! I’m in love with the 21 Day Fix and soon I want to start Insanity Max 30!
5) If I came to visit you, what would we do?
Well first of all I would tell you not to come visit until the summer … But if you came I’d take you out somewhere fun for food and cocktails and maybe to go hear a band play somewhere. And then maybe the next night watch a movie and eat Pho … all about balance.
6) 2 weeks off and plane tickets anywhere … Where to?
I’m torn! I guess I would say Thailand right now. I’d love to also explore Europe, but I’ve been to France and Spain but never anywhere else so I think Thailand would be an amazing experience. As long as I get to ride elephants.
7) What’s the most embarrassing thing to happen to you during a run or race?
Probably just how I looked during my entire marathon.
8) 3 best days of your life?
Oh gosh, um, that’s hard! I think my best days were always the simplest days where I just felt joy and contentment. The little days that don’t really stick out because there wasn’t a big event surrounding them.
9) You MUST eat a fast food meal … Which restaurant do you choose and what is your order?
This is a hard one since I can’t eat gluten! I guess I’d get a salad at Subway?
10) Have you ever met a celebrity?
I’ve seen famous people, but I don’t know if I’ve really met/spoke to a “celebrity.” Well I met Corey Smith once but anyone outside of the south would have no idea who he is.
11) If you could choose a “do-over” career, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to be a High School Biology teacher. I love biology and love teaching people about it and talking about it. I also love helping youth better themselves, so I think it would all tie in really well.
12) What skill do you lack?
Odd question … um a LOT?? Singing, dancing, whistling, anything to do with finances, weaving … Clearly not humor …
