Although Gene Simmons is known for his shocking antics, being involved with child porn fortunately isn’t one of them.
Jared Fogle, the Subway spokesman, will plead guilty to possession of child pornography.
According to USA Today, a special task force that investigates crimes against children was investigating the Simmons home on Thursday. Police have remained adamant, however, that neither the rocker nor his family members are suspects.
Lieutenant John Jenal stated that the warrant was served on Thursday at the Simmons residence in Benedict Canyon, which is not far from Beverly Hills. Jenal said that Simmosn and his family were “extremely cooperative.”

A Washington, D.C. attorney was arrested for child porn allegations.
Neither investigators nor the Simmons family released any additional statements about the case. However, police did state that the investigation stemmed from “a crime that may have occurred on their property last year while Simmons was away on tour with KISS…neither Mr. Simmons nor any member of his family is a person of interest in the investigation and they are cooperating fully with the investigation.”
Loading ...Shannon Tweed Simmons, Gene’s wife, took to Twitter to make a statement about the family’s disappointment. According to the Los Angeles Times, she said, “Thanks for your support. We couldn’t be more horrified that someone used our residence for such heinous crimes. Law enforcement is on it.” According to UltimateClassicRock.com, Shannon added a separate Facebook post that said, “OMG this is one crazy day update: all of our iPhones iPads and computers are cleared. Now the real investigation can start!”
Last year, a teenage girl was charged with child porn in Virginia.
Simmons, 65, has been a member of shock rock group KISS since the 1970s. His family had their own reality show for several years.
Recently, Simmons and his buddy, Johnny Depp, formed a superband called the Hollywood Vampires. The band will release an album and perform shows for a children’s charity that Simmons supports.
