The troubled Mean Girl, Lindsay Lohan, just lost her defamation lawsuit against Fox News Channel. She filed after members of a program made comments that alleged she and her mama Dina Lohan, 53, used cocaine together.
The New York judge involved dismissed the case on Friday saying, “Truth is a defense.”
The 29-year-old actress brought the case against FNC after comments were made about her and Dina by host Sean Hannity and guest Michelle Fields on “The Sean Hannity Show.” According to GossipCop, “During a February 2014 show, which took place two days after Philip Seymour Hoffman died of a drug overdose, Hannity and Fields speculated about which celebrity might next succumb to addiction and join the “obituary list.” Fields said on the live program, “Lindsay Lohan’s mom is doing cocaine with her.”

Harsh, but not defamation.
Lindsay and Dina said that the comments were “malicious” and “smeared” them, but the judge disagreed. The two of them are public figures and what was said about them was nothing new. After all, Lindsay’s drug use is well documented, and TMZ released a 2012 phone conversation between Lindsay and her dad Michael where Lindsay blatantly said about her mother, “Dad, she’s on cocaine…”
The FNC case may be the latest Lohan lawsuit that has been thrown out, but it isn’t the first one. Lindsay has a history of suing people who mention her personal problems.
Over the years, Lindsay has filed similar lawsuits and developed a reputation of being litigious. For instance, she sued Pitbull, NE-YO, and Afrojack in 2011 because of their song, “Give Me Everything.” The song featured the line, “I get it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” That case was dismissed.
Next, Lindsay filed a $100 million suit against E-Trade for their commercial which featured a “milkaholic” baby named Lindsay. According to TMZ, the case was settled out of court, and Dina was “pleased” with the unreleased result.
In 2014, Lindsay sued the makers of Grand Theft Auto V, alleging they used her likeness for two characters, including a strung out, young actress named Lacey Jonas. Game publisher Take Two and its subsidiary Rockstar Games responded with a motion to dismiss as well as a sanction of Lindsay and her attorneys. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Rockstar’s lawyers argued Lacey was a parody and a compilation of multiple blonde celebs.
And really, anyone with eyes can see Lacey looks more like Kate Upton than anything.
